Parents and Grandparents Program

Parents and Grandparents Program

Parents and Grandparents (PGP) program allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their parents/grandparents for permanent residence in Canada. As per the eligibility requirements, the applicants must be sponsored by their child or grandchild who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. The sponsor must demonstrate the ability to provide financial support for the parents or grandparents for at least 20 years. The application process for permanent residence involves several steps including an application to the government of Canada and an assessment of the sponsor's financial ability to provide support. As a regulated Canadian immigration consultant (RCIC), I can provide you with more information about the PGP program and help you navigate the application process. Contact me to learn more about how I can assist you with this category of applications.
